Critical Genealogy of Approaches to Political Development Studies in Iran after the Islamic Revolution

Abstract
The Islamic revolution is considered as a turning point in the history of contemporary Iran, one of the long steps of Iranians in independence, freedom from tyranny, achieving freedom and republic, and in other words, achieving political development. In explaining, analyzing and describing political development as one of the goals and aspects of the Islamic revolution in the year of the revolution, many studies have been conducted and many works have been published. The purpose of the current research, which has been written using a critical analysis, is genealogy and identifying the reason for the abundance and diversity of studies related to political development. In line with the above goal, the question is raised that the studies of political development in Iran are based on what studies? The results and findings of the research show that it is important that without knowing the studies of political economy, political sociology, political culture, political psychology and jurisprudence, a precise understanding of political development in this type of studies is possible and why the plurality and diversity of views . And the lack of an accurate picture of political development in Iran is due to the above studies.
