Institutional mechanisms of transformation in the interdisciplinary fields of energy humanities with an emphasis on the integration of social sciences

Abstract
Objective: This research is aimed to investigate the institutional mechanisms of transformation in the interdisciplinary humanities fields emphasis on social sciences of energy.
Background: The integration of social sciences with energy science and technology has led to innovation in the field of knowledge in an interdisciplinary manner and its application in action fields. Research method: In this research, using qualitative content analysis, the fields of university education, research and technology in the field of energy and social sciences were examined in terms of attention to social sciences and energy. Then, relying on the methods of flow creation and discourse creation strategies, we have compiled the mechanisms that are necessary to be implemented by the driving institutions in this field, to strengthen the interdisciplinary fields of energy social sciences.
Findings: Considering that social sciences have a weak position in the mentioned fields. institutions in the framework of their mission can use a combination of mainstreaming methods and discourse-building strategies Provide platforms for strengthening social sciences in the fields of university education, research and energy technology. The Human Sciences Development and Promotion Council, the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, the executive bodies of the Energy Trustee, research institutes, universities and scientific associations are among the leading institutions in this field.
Results: Each of the developed mechanisms, which need to be managed by the driving institutions according to their missions, provides the platform for Iran to achieve the position of scientific authority in this field.
