Abstract
The purpose of this study was to develop and validate a model of organizational patriotism based on Islamic and Iranian values among employees of Astan Quds Razavi. In terms of purpose, the study was developmental-applied, and in terms of method, it employed a sequential exploratory mixed-method design. In the qualitative phase, the dimensions and components of the construct were identified through meta-synthesis and in-depth semi-structured interviews. In the meta-synthesis phase, 32 final studies were analyzed, and in the field phase, 24 academic and organizational experts were selected purposively and interviewed until theoretical saturation was achieved. In the quantitative phase, the statistical population consisted of employees of Astan Quds Razavi, from whom 542 participants were selected through proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were collected using a 56-item researcher-made questionnaire developed based on the qualitative findings. The validity of the instrument was confirmed through content, construct, criterion, and discriminant validity, while its reliability was established using Cronbach’s alpha, composite reliability, and test–retest methods. The findings showed that the final model consisted of eight main categories: Islamic values, Iranian values, organizational identity and belonging, leadership and management, commitment and loyalty, extra-role behaviors, outcomes, and organizational culture and climate. Quantitative results also indicated good model fit, adequate sampling, satisfactory validity and reliability of the instrument, and acceptable explanatory power of the constructs. Accordingly, organizational patriotism in Astan Quds Razavi can be understood as a multidimensional, indigenous, and value-based construct shaped through the interaction of cultural, religious, identity-related, and managerial factors
