The position and role of the Islamic Revolution lesson and its roots in shaping attitudes and strengthening students' political and social identity

Abstract
The course "The Islamic Revolution and Its Roots" is one of the important courses in the country's universities at the undergraduate level, which plays a special role in shaping students' attitudes and strengthening their political and social identity. This course not only analyzes various aspects of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, but also familiarizes students with its roots and consequences, considering historical, cultural, social, and religious contexts. This course strengthens national and religious identity, awareness of the process of historical and social developments; increases the ability to analyze political and social issues; develops political and social awareness; teaches the values ​​of the Islamic Revolution and emphasizes ideals; increases attention to the role of the people in social changes; creates a critical and analytical atmosphere; and influences the formation of religious and moral attitudes. The main question in this research is: What effect does the course "The Islamic Revolution and Its Roots" have on the formation of attitudes and strengthening the political and social identity of students? The research hypothesis is based on the premise that teaching the Islamic Revolution and its roots to students will lead to the formation of new attitudes and strengthen their political and social identity. The research method used in this article is the library method and the author's lessons learned from Islamic Revolution classes.
